HDUIES attaches great importance to teachers training and strives to recruit high-end professionals. At present, there are over 300 faculty members, 41.4% of whom have senior professional titles, about 68% hold Master’s degrees, 22% hold doctoral degrees. In recent years, HDUIES has received 4 provincial Prizes of Teaching Achievement; conducted over 50 provincial Education and Teaching Reform Projects, nearly 20 provincial Classroom Teaching Reform Projects and 2 ministerial Coordinated Education Programs. Meanwhile, HDUIES values scientific research and technological innovation. In the last three years, its teachers have undertaken 4 state-level research projects, over 30 provincial-level and ministerial-level scientific research projects and about 80 privately funded projects, and have transferred 5 research results.
